Caryn Lewis

Caryn Lewis has served as a curriculum and instruction specialist for schools and districts across the nation. Her K-6 teaching experience focused on improving student achievement in Title I schools and meeting the needs of children facing the challenges of poverty and learning English as a second language.

Caryn has worked as a master teacher, literacy coach, district staff development specialist, and coordinator of educational services for the Riverside County Office of Education. She has extensive training and experience with skillful implementation of state adopted instructional programs, instructing English learners, and designing comprehensive intervention systems.

For over six years, Caryn has served as a member of the United States Department of Education, Teacher Training Corps. As a national presenter, she works directly with teachers and administrators in an effort to improve student learning through the effective delivery of standards-based instruction.

Ms. Lewis holds a Master of Arts degree in Education and currently serves as an elementary school principal in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
