Gerrie Fausett

Ms. Gerrie Fausett joined Dave Long & Associates with 30 plus years of experience in education. She most recently served and retired as a superintendent in Santa Barbara, California. Other experiences include elementary and secondary teacher, special education teacher, elementary principal, junior high principal, director of human resources, and assistant superintendent.

Ms. Fausett has served as a consultant for school districts in areas of Title I, Title III, and observation and evaluation proceedures. Additionally, she has presented workshops at conferences for Ed West (National and State of California), California Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (CASCD) and served as a scorer for the California Distinguished School Program. Ms. Fausett also served as a writer for the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards and as a mentor for teachers seeking National Board Certification. She served as a member of the Joint Powers Agency Board for Special Education (SELPA) in Santa Barbara County. She presently teaches a course for the Administrative Training Program (formerly AB 430) which fulfills requirements for participants for the Administrative Services Credential for the State of California.

Ms. Fausett earned her Bachelor's degree from Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas. Her Master's degree was earned at California State University, Northridge.
